- Why choose quartz over flake?
- Density. The double quartz bed gives a thicker, harder surface built for forklifts, pallets and heavy traffic. For normal residential use, flake is plenty.
- Does it resist chemicals?
- Yes. The urethane finish is chemical-resistant: oil, solvents, shop products. The membrane is seamless, so nothing seeps between layers and everything washes off.
- Does it work in a commercial kitchen?
- That's one of its main uses. The surface is non-slip, has no seams for dirt to collect in, and it takes a full hose-down.
- Can quartz go outdoors?
- Yes. It's the finish we bring out for steps, pool decks and commercial entryways: it takes the freeze-thaw cycle and stays safe in the rain.
