How long does an epoxy floor last? Years, without flaking, when the concrete is properly prepped and the coats are laid down right. That is exactly where we never cut corners, and that is why we back it with a 10-year warranty.
Is the floor slippery? No. Époxy Québec Pro can add a non-slip additive for garages, entryways and zones that get wet. The floor stays safe even when damp.
How long does the installation take? Installation time depends on the finish: flake ~2 days, metallic 3 to 5 days, quartz 2 to 3 days. A day gets added if the slab needs repairs first.
What is the difference between flake, metallic and quartz? Flake: textured, non-slip, the most requested for garages and balconies. Metallic: a one-of-a-kind marbled effect, hand-poured. Quartz: the densest and most durable, for zones that take a beating.
Does it resist hot tires and oil? Yes. Hot tires, oil, gas, de-icing salt: the finish takes it and washes off with a quick spray of the hose.
Good for a basement after water damage? Yes. The finish Époxy Québec Pro installs is waterproof and seamless: it holds neither water nor mould, unlike carpet or wood. It cleans and disinfects easily.
Do I get to choose the colours? A wide choice of flakes and pigments (Torginol colour chart). We match your decor and show you the options before we start.
